A stay at Promised Land Retreat isn't just about great accommodation and stunning views. Once you've recharged, head down to our tennis court, hop on one of our mountain bikes and explore the beautiful the river just down the road. Here you'll find several swimming holes and grand granite boulders, moss covered tree stumps and perfectly unspoilt forests - the perfect retreat on a hot summer's day. Or take the bikes on a trek around the Promised Land loop road where you'll find many more swimming opportunities as well as grand vistas of the lush countryside and the gondwana forests covering the mountains.

Anyone for tennis?

We have a full size court with a picnic bench. The court's surface is artificial grass and is well maintained. Racquets and balls are provided.

Well maintained quality bikes are provided.

Games Room

The games room is located near the two family chalets. There is a pool table, ping-pong, books and DVD's, board games for guests to take to their chalet. Attached to the games room is a laundry with washing / drying / ironing facilities.
